Victoria (Vicki) ByRoade, Pastor
Originally from Delaware, Rev. ByRoade and her family have lived in Dunedin for 20 years. She has been married to Ronald (Dusty) ByRoade for 50 years, and while they enjoy visiting family and friends in Delaware, Dunedin has become home for the ByRoade family. Vicki and Dusty have 3 daughters and they are currently charged and blessed to be raising 2 young granddaughters.
Rev. ByRoade earned a B.A. in Christian Caregiving from Eastern University in St. David’s, PA and a Masters of Divinity from Eastern Theological (now Palmer) Seminary in Wynwood, PA. She began her ministry at Concord Presbyterian in Wilmington, DE. She served First Presbyterian in Dunedin for 15 years before retiring, then she served Highland Presbyterian in Largo part time for 2 years. She received several prestigious awards while serving the Dunedin community. As an active member of Presbytery of Tampa Bay, she currently serves on the Committee on Nominations and Representation, recently completing a term as chairman.
Vicki strives to live in such a way that those who know her, but don’t know God, will come to know God, because they know her. It is always a pleasure to work with Pastor Vicki.
Vicki works part time, 25 hours per week. She is in the church office on Wednesdays from 10—5 pm. In addition to administrative tasks, worship preparation and leading worship and Bible study, she spends a great deal of time visiting shut ins and those who are ill, as well as meeting folks in the community.
